I am a partner in Plesner's TMT team, and the head of Plesner's legal advice on data protection, corporate compliance, marketing law and e-commerce. I have specialised in these areas of law for more than 10 years and I am one of the leading Danish advisors in these areas - and the interplay between them.The work includes advice on data protection issues, data protection compliance projects, including Binding Corporate Rules and privacy audits, data transfers, privacy policies for customers or employees, data security requirements, employee monitoring, and data protection issues relation to US discovery. I spend the majority of my time on the General Data Protection Regulation - analysing the rules and assisting clients with assessing the practical impact of the rules. The advice finally covers new business models directed at consumers, e.g. loyalty schemes, gift cards and prepaid card schemes, as well as online distribution of services, e.g. music and apps.
