I am a graduate from the University of Michigan's Health Management and Policy program. I am a researcher and policy analyst with more than 6 years of experience in health services and healthcare financing policy research at RTI International. I have held active roles in numerous projects implementing and analyzing the impacts of health policies. I have professional and educational experience in economic research and statistical analysis. My expertise includes designing and implementing the risk adjustment models for Medicare Parts C and D, and the Affordable Care Act Health Exchanges, overseeing the determination process for Medicare Alternative Payment Models (APMs), researching and writing multiple reports for the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE), and performing complex statistical analyses, and writing reports for the SEER-MHOS and RTI Rarity projects related to quality of life cancer research and social determinants of health outcomes. Having worked on academic analyses as well as applied, public sector research projects, I bring a mixture of the technical skills required to produce original research, the collaborative experience needed to work successfully with multiple parties, and the qualitative ability to frame research impacts in non-technical language.
