Mr. Mohammad Soeb is a Research Associate under the River, Delta and Coastal Morphology Division at CEGIS, Public Trust, Ministry of Water Resources. He obtained his bachelor's in civil engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh in 2022. His thesis major was in Water Resources Engineering.For the last two years, he is involved in different research projects relevant to river morphology, planform development, and capital dredging, etc. He has knowledge of GIS/RS application, GIS analysis, GIS map preparation, hydro-dynamic modelling i.e., Delft3D, Sobek, and AutoCAD, etc. He was involved with updating the information of the rivers of Bangladesh for the book '(বাংলাদেশের নদ-নদী)', a flagship project under the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB). He was also involved in preparing concept notes of future projects for Support to Implementation of the Bangladesh Delta Plan 2100 (BDP2100).He is also capable of project management, conducting research, and co-coordinating project activities. He has good interpersonal and communication skills, analytical capability, and professional team leadership qualities.
