I'm fascinated by organizations as human systems. What's so interesting to me is that these systems are governed by incentive structures that communicate and reinforce their priorities, which ultimately spur organizational outcomes.It's this fascination with the way humans operate in groups that led me to start thinking about how these components combine to shape firm success. With this in mind, I'm interested in how I can use financial data to understand firms' priorities, idiosyncracies, outcomes, and ultimate impact their decisions create.The impact question has led me to study the historical and contextual factors that drive international investment and the global impact that investment produces, as well as the effects that a broadening of access to opportunity (e.g., through board diversity and inclusion) have on firm outcomes and societal indicators.Specialties: Finance, social science research, quantitative analysis, evaluation
