• Raised high-yield bonds and syndicated loans and issued credit facilities for primarily US middle-market and large-cap companies. • Worked closely with CFOs and Treasurers to optimize their companies' capital structures and meet corporate finance objectives, including access to liquidity, inexpensive financing, more favorable leverage and interest covenants, and capex and working capital needs.

• Structured project finance transactions with Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) in support of agri-business clients in Asia. • Supported multi-million dollar application for an OPIC loan to support establishment of cold storage facility in the Middle East. • Managed business transactions and stakeholder interactions while matriculated at Harvard Business School.

• Supported M&A transactions in trucking and electric power equipment industries. • Provided M&A advisory and fairness opinions for complex transactions, including tax-free spin-offs and corporate restructurings.

• Coordinated multi-national and multi-agency effort to design, execute and monitor the $18.7 billion reconstruction effort in Iraq, particularly in transportation sector (with a focus on Iraq's 2 seaports, 3 major airports, and 2 primary railway lines). • Organized the Iraqi Ministry of Transportation's first fiscal budget totaling $850 million after initial combat activities had ended.

• Supported Congressman's tenure as first Chairman of House Homeland Security Committee to oversee creation of the Department of Homeland Security. • Supervised the Congressman's legislative priorities on the House Financial Services Committee, including limiting tort litigation as part of accounting reforms in the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (US Rep. Chris Cox would later serve as 28th Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission).• Other legislative priorities included ending the double taxation on dividends and stock option expensing for new companies.
