 Responsible for overall procurement process including tender finalization and publication, tender evaluation and contract awarding. Preparing National Competitive Bidding tender documents and Paper advertisements according to World Bank Guidelines.  Liaison with project DPDs and IEs in implementing agencies to obtain relevant BOQs and specifications to start the procurement process. Checking part payment bills (IPC) received from the districts and recommending payments to project director. Ensuring that the construction works are done according to the design, BOQ and drawings in full compliance with the contract agreement.  Assisting procurement specialist for preparing Terms of References and Expression of Interests for consultancy / non-consultancy procurement activities.

 Controlling and monitoring construction activities closely to execute the project without delays and interruptions.  Scheduling works in accordance to the master and weekly detail programme. Calculating and purchasing required material qty’s for scheduled site activities. Liaise with subcontractors and other stakeholders to implement the site works. Checking and certifying subcontractor’s IPA’s. Preparing (Cost/Progress) reports and method statements whenever required. Recording daily site progress in detail.

 Monitoring the site progress and coordinating the subcontractors to ensure the project completion within the project budget and duration in following areas of the project.- Raw Water Intake Pumping station construction - MCC Panel Building construction- Gabion wall (with 4 different sections) Construction- 100 m length Weir dam construction Across Ma-Oya River Providing technical supervision regarding Reinforcement, Formwork and concreting activities to maintain the quality standards of site related works. Maintaining site safety, carrying out site inspections and resolving any technical issue related to design and execution. Handling site related documents (RFI’s, DPR’s, MS’s etc.).
