- Regularly perform ELISA testing on patient serum samples using analytical instruments and methods- Produce accurate results in a timely manner- Follow safety guidelines within the lab- Interpret data and process results to approve or reject samples in analysis- Identify and report irregularities within any aspect of work- Ensure on time task completion to support goal of completion- Understand the scientific principles behind the analysis methods- Instrument management ans troubleshooting (calibration, maintenance, documentation)- Accurately dilute patient samples according to which test will be conducted- Make varying reagents for testing, such as: substrate buffer, wash buffer, serum diluent, etc.- Perform quality control to determine if samples pass- Accession incoming samples to prepare them for testing and analysis- Conduct second review on completed arrays

- Able to execute lab protocol and procedures under supervision of the Lab Director- Display good lab technique to avoid misidentified samples and cross-contamination- Perform sample preparation procedures including homogenization, weighing and liquid extraction- Provide training and mentoring for incoming extraction technicians- Provide primary and secondary review as needed- Perform QC duties including ICV, CCV, and LCS- Manage workflow and prioritize samples- Perform and record results from water activity, moisture content, and filth and foreign material- Utilize LIMS system to create batches, enter sample preparation information and maintain physical and electronic records- Adhere to ISO 17025 standards as well as state regulatory requirements- Manage inventory supplies and alert supervisor in advance when materials need to be ordered- Assign daily preparation and extraction tasks for others technicians- Promote strong customer service culture while adhering to highest safety and industry standards- Accurately utilize a centrifuge- Set up a sequence and load samples onto an LC-MS and GC-MS correctly- Create mobile phases and rinses for HPLC and LC-MS- Analyze samples consisting of a variety of matrices using traditional laboratory technologies including HPLC- Accurately prepare calibration curves and quality control samples- Interpret and evaluate data in terms of accuracy, precision, trends, and quality control requirements- Participate in the development or updating of departmental SOP’s

- Carry out procedures for handling and processing specimens according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning according to the SOPs- Participate in daily lab meetings and create ways to improve productivity and efficiency for lab operations- Maintain organizational and communication skills along with human relations- Sustain the mission and values of the company through integrity, accountability, compassion, collaboration and quality- Ability to comply with applicable personal protective equipment requirements- Ability to use pipettes and other lab equipment- Perform repetitious actions using lab tools- Exposed to hazardous materials, client samples, and instruments with moving parts- Properly fill out maintenance logs/records on equipment- Properly dispose of hazardous waste and laboratory chemicals- Label specimens to assigned accessioning number- Accession and aliquot specimens- Ability to maintain efficiency and acceptable turn-around-time- Recognize unacceptable and unusual specimens and handle properly- Process client samples, quality control samples and proficiency samples- Efficiently use LIMS, and keep records
