I am a current student at Essex High School and I am planning to pursue a higher education at the University of Vermont in the Honors College next year. My major is Biology, and I hope to minor in Emergency Medicine as well on the pre-medicine track. I am excited about many aspects of college, but I am especially excited to study abroad and see new cultures and new places. I am also excited to participate in the pre-college orientation programs, as I just got accepted into the Arts and Culture program in Costa Rica this summer.I would describe myself as a determined yet lighthearted individual. I am fond of using humor to connect with anyone and everyone, and it has always made me some of my most cherished connections and relationships. I am very focused on education and consider myself very curious about learning new things in and outside of the classroom. I also am a musician and a dancer, and art is extremely important to me.It has been my goal to become a physician or be a different part of the medical field for some time now, and my internship only solidified my aspirations. I am excited to start the process next year with my Bachelor of Science in Biology, and continue my education further to complete my goals.
