Mia is an adaptable and driven Business Analyst currently helping a major telco client transform their fraud and bereavement processes.In July 2020 she graduated from Accenture’s software engineering apprenticeship scheme with a first class degree; and now has 7 years working experience with some of Accenture’s diamond clients across fin-tech and entertainment industries.Joining as a software engineering associate in 2017, she has learnt a variety of techniques and IT skills for problem solving and solution delivery. She loves working in grey areas to make things clearer; more black and white.Prior her current role, she spent 1 year as a Business Analyst, transforming a major UK retail bank's legacy, on-premise hardware to a state of the art technology. During this time she simultaneously and independently led and delivered 2x new Citrix Delivery services worth £6million from concept phase to deployment.Prior this she worked as the lead Agile BA for a leading asset management company. Mia led the business analysis activities across 2 workstreams simultaneously, to transform Customer Journeys and efficiencies of the Client Operations Team to support the launch of a new digital savings mobile app with open banking integration (sponsored by CEO and showcased at annual results).She has worked for a major entertainment company, managing the PMO activities for ~50 projects worth £82 million and before this spent 10 months working as a Project Manager across 4 agile cloud-computing projects for a major UK retail bank (Azure, AWS).She's a Scientist (geek/analyst!) who specialized in Genetics at A-levels and has a strong interest in Bioinformatics and artificial intelligence.She loves to operate as an Agile BA and showing clients how simple it can be to adopt agile principles.She has a passion for learning and development, collaboration and change management.Mia has worked internationally; She started her career in Cape Town, South Africa as an assistant business analyst for Bold Moves, a property development business. She worked there for two years before moving to Accenture.
