I have spent the last 3 years living in Newcastle upon Tyne whilst completing and achieving a first class honours degree in Forensic psychology. During my time at Northumbria University I split my time between studying and working at a local student bar and restaurant. Initially I was hired as bar staff due to my past experience in bars and cafés. During my first year of employment I was promoted to bar supervisor and then shortly after became assistant manager. My second year of working at Alfie's bar also came with success, I was able to finish my undergraduate degree whilst also achieving further promotion at work to become General Manager.My intentions for the next year are to continue to develop my capabilities as general manager, assisting in the continued success of the establishment. Along side this I am hoping to secure some work experience and keen to search for internships or volunteer opportunities to develop my career as a Forensic psychologist. The next step in my plan is to apply for a Forensic psychology Masters degree, in order to become a fully qualified Forensic psychologist.
