I grew up in South West England, Dorset, studying at Parkstone Grammar School, before I moved to London. Where I studied at St Mary's University and completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Business.While completing my undergraduate degree I was surprised at how much I enjoyed learning about intellectual disabilities and the vast depth of developmental psychology. I knew after this degree that I wanted a career both within psychological research and client-facing opportunities.Throughout my time at St Mary's University, I worked for local charities and organisations, such as Ruils, Anstee Bridge, and worked with children between the ages of 12-16 years old. It truly ignited a passion for working with young people.In every part of life, we need effective, efficient, and adaptive communication, approachability, organisation, and open-mindedness.I believe I have and will continue to develop these key skills necessary for meeting my career aspiration of a Neurodevelopment Clinical Psychologist. I desire to gain further insight into the lives of neurodiverse individuals, to be able a supportive figure for them.
