COVID Response and Recovery Unit

Researched the impact of school policy on student substance use, discipline rates, and inequity. Compiled findings in a comprehensive document and presentation materials for use by Washington County Public Health and Washington County School Districts. Presented findings and best-practice recommendations at the Substance Use Prevention Collaborative.

Performed HIV testing as well as pre- and post-test counseling. Worked designing and delivering culturally-competent HIV/STI/pregnancy prevention materials and PowerPoint presentations. Helped design a comprehensive needs assessment matrix and conducted the assessment in rural areas with little access to healthcare.Worked in outreach, delivering ARVs and conducting HIV and simple laboratory diagnostic testing in remote areas without access to these services.Delivered nutrition presentations at the Kigezi Nutrition Clinic to mothers of young children.

Tested all coach systems (electrical, water and liquid propane), inspected all components for potential code violations and discrepancies (both ANSI and NEC), documented and reported aforementioned violations and discrepancies to production supervisors and engineers. Observed and documented installation of coach components to create installation manuals for production employees and engineers.I also trained new employees to identify ANSI/NEC code violations, as well as worked directly with Manufacturing Engineering on the development for testing procedures in order to ensure compliance with updated ANSI and NEC guidelines and protocols.
