I want to give you a quick peek into my world, I’m Mia, a Professional Life Coach and freelance writer. I am passionate about helping our youth become productive members of society. In the near future I will open a youth center providing FREE programs, events and camps that build character, inspire and empower. On my journey I started out working with numbers, something I love. I landed in the mortgage field straight out of school. Although the money was nice it didn't make me happy. I left the field and decided to start my family. As a stay at home mom I tried my hand at a couple of MLM businesses, Melaleuca and Discovery Toys. I had marginal success and just as I found my stride with DT I had an opportunity to enter the field of helping others. While working overnights for the crisis helpline I felt the overwhelming joy that helping others brings me. I moved through the human service field landing as an Advocate/Life Coach at a homeless shelter . Although I loved my time as an Advocate/Life Coach, I missed the time spent away from my children. I made the decision to offer my life coaching services privately and began freelance writing.I currently spend my time juggling volunteering in the school system and in the community, ghost writing for businesses and professionals and serving as a Professional Life Coach. As a volunteer in the school system I mentor one on one as partner of FLOW, (Future Leaders of the World.) I started a science group designed to make learning fun and interactive for students in grades 2nd-5th. I am also a Service Leadership Program Advisor and club board member of Kiwanis International.As a freelance writer I create unique and creative web content for businesses and professionals. This includes information found on companies' websites, blog entries, DIY articles and informational guides. Serving as Vice President of my school's PTA I am responsible for the PTA newsletter and other correspondence to the families and businesses.
