During Winter Quarter 2022, I had the privilege of Working with Snohomish Health District as a Health Communication intern--- we were asked to create a final deliverable/product, that could be shared by SHD via their social media platforms, aimed to decrease vaccination hesitancy among parents/caregivers.

Duties:- Responded to student emails - Organized and delivered mail/messages to appropriate professors and other staff members- Prepared lunch for staff meetings- Assisted with checking in guest/guest speakers for seminars- Posted flyers that promoted important messages, meetings, and events- Reserved Meeting Rooms and Projectors Per request

CHOOSE 180 administers programs that supports (justice involved) youth in our community to help sustain their commitment to change and pivot away from destructive behavior. As an SYEP Media Intern, my coworker, Amani and I supported the CHOOSE 180 staff in creating media post about, taking pictures of, and interviewing youth participants- additionally interns will act as greeters at our workshops and offer light administrative support as needed.We created media content to share the successes and progress of our participants and the impact that different individuals have on our community.
