A sociable, curious, and detail-oriented visual communicator who is seeking experience within a range of careers such as PR, Marketing, Events or Advertising.Previously, I worked as the Events Officer for NTU's Fashion Society, where my primary responsibilities encompassed event planning and development and content creation for social media accounts. I was also a core member of the PR and Event Design team for an exclusive student night based at Nottingham's famous bar, Coco Tang. Alongside these voluntary roles, I also worked for the independent fancy-dress brand Luvyababes, managing their TikTok account and working as a sales associate. My Fashion Communication & Promotion degree provided me with industry-based skills in presenting, public speaking, and organisation, as well as copywriting, storytelling, and developing creative strategies. I also got to work on live briefs with a range of brands, such as Estée Lauder Companies, Very, and Free People.As a self-proclaimed environmentalist, my take on the fashion and creative industries is something that is vital for the future. Climate Fresk FacilitatorClimate Fresk Apr 2023 - Oct 2024United KingdomDuring November 2022 I was the only final year student to volunteer to take part in a pilot workshop to trial whether bringing Climate Fresk into Nottingham Trent University would be a good idea. Following this, I took the next step during April 2023 and attended a training day to become a facilitator. I’m now the first and only student at NTU who has this qualification / title, along with 5 members of staff from the Art & Design school, and another group of staff who are working within the sustainability department. I am so proud of myself for putting myself forward and being involved with such an amazing NGO, and my skills and knowledge are invaluable to any brand looking to navigate climate issues, work on sustainable elements, and improve workforce knowledge.As a Climate Fresk Facilitator I am now fully equipped to run my own workshops for students, kids, and adults. -

I helped manage the brand’s TikTok (@luvyababes_) with the main purpose to engage new and existing students, giving them outfit inspiration for socials and events throughout the year. We also focused on key calendar events (e.g. Halloween, Christmas, World Book Day, the Jubilee etc) and marketed the store through our social platforms to help increase footfall in-store. I also came up with marketing strategies for the independent business. For example, I mocked-up an advert which featured in Platform magazine.I also assisted with: visual merchandising, cashiering, customer service, t-shirt design & printing.

The aim was to bring student nights back to Nottingham’s exclusive bar, and we successfully did so! I helped as part of the Design team, as well as the PR team. I helped make decisions on prices, the branding, music etc. Our event took place on March 23rd and sold out on the day. Feedback from attendees was extremely positive and so the next one is now being planned.
