I am driven by the stories I encounter and a desire to change a person's story for the better. I am currently an NSF GRFP Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Washington. I work to design affordable and innovative medical technologies and assistive technology to improve the quality of life of the user. Currently, my work is focused on early mobility in all forms, whether that be rolling, crawling, or walking. I am interested in accessibility, particularly of the built environment, and in controls and learning of powered mobility.I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May 2021 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Bioengineering. While at Notre Dame, I worked with a club at the University of Notre Dame that designs assistive technology for children and adults with limb differences and other disabilities. Every opportunity I have been involved with has developed me into the person I am. I am a servant leader who is passionate about making a positive change in my community and the lives of those around me.
