Embarking on a journey fueled by curiosity and creativity! Ever since I was a wide-eyed teenager, glued to the TV every week watching Project Runway, I've been captivated by the transformative power of fashion and storytelling. Fast forward to last October, when I found myself facing an exhilarating yet nerve-wracking opportunity: designing an outfit to be showcased in front of none other than Tim Gunn himself. Talk about a dream come true – and a challenge I couldn't resist.This "power of saying yes" has been the guiding force of my college experience. From immersing myself in an interdisciplinary education to diving headfirst into diverse extracurricular activities, each step has shaped my identity and deepened my commitment to the world of interdisciplinary humanities.Currently pursuing a BA in Applied Humanities with a Fashion Emphasis and minors in Spanish, Public Relations, and Film and Television at The University of Arizona. My journey isn't just about studying – it's about breaking boundaries and exploring the intricate connections between art, culture, and society.As the Public Relations Vice President of Gamma Phi Beta sorority, I'm leading initiatives to increase community engagement, plan philanthropy events, and tackle ethical dilemmas head-on. Meanwhile, as a member of the Student Advisory Board at the Terry J. Lundgren Center, I'm expanding my network and co-creating networking events and career workshops for fellow students.In my internship with the College of Humanities Marketing Team, I'm bridging theory and practice, planning events, crafting social media campaigns, and diving into video shoots. Each experience fuels my passion for interdisciplinary humanities and reinforces the power of collaboration.Excited to continue exploring the intersections of art, culture, and society while making a positive impact in both academic and professional spheres.
