While the state legislature is in session, Aim Higher Now will be asking our state legislators to be champions for the middle class by supporting our public schools, teachers and students, creating better paying jobs, and promoting fair taxes that reward hardworking families and small businesses. We are building a long-term organizing effort in our communities. Over the coming months, we will be organizing phone banks, canvasses, press events, voter registration drives, and skill building training on organizing tactics. Whether you're a student who wants to learn the ins and outs of organizing, retired and hoping to raise your level of commitment, or anyone in between, the Internship program is for you. We're relying on energetic and passionate people to help build a long-term infrastructure.The Internship program is designed to test, train, and develop the next generation of community organizers. Organizing is inspiring, complex, moving, and difficult work.
