As Project Lead Planner, I prepare, conduct, lead, and attend exercise planning conferences and discussions for the Shadow Operations Center (ShOC), the virtual and physical playground for information collection and sense making using data involvement. It is my responsibility to assist with developing senior leader tabletop exercises, including execution of the event and after-action reporting. I also support event requirements for Joint Staff’s JADC2 and Air Force Advanced Battle Management System. In addition, I task nine people in flight.

In this role, I supervised five military personnel, four civilians, and five contractors responsible for coordinating efforts of five geographically separated units, three COCOMs, and higher headquarters as well as developing Group guidance. I conducted annual performance reviews for military members and provided initial, annual, and ad hoc feedback to civilians and contractors. It was my responsibility to assign tasks and monitor performance for all 14.

I reviewed, prioritized, and validated Regional Support Team and law enforcement agency requirements in support of Joint Task Force North Commander’s counterdrug mission. Included was management of intelligence collaboration on finished products in support of Joint Task Force North and law enforcement agencies for counterdrug missions. I provided intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance management and collection guidance. In addition, I managed allocated assets and identified requirement gaps and shortfalls.

I deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, a long-term international military intervention against ISIS, where I was tasked with leading intelligence operations responsible for analyzing threat networks and working with mission planners to adjust tactics, techniques, and procedures. I trained 38 personnel on threats, trends, counter tactics, escape, evasion, and current intelligence. Leadership experience included supervision of a 14-member team, providing initial, midterm, and annual feedback; monitored performance and submitted members for awards and recognition.
