In October of 2013 I took over the daily operations of Mamapedia and it's related daily deal website for moms and children called Mamasource. The combined sites boast a total of around 2 million unique visitors each month. I then transitioned the company through it's next acquisition at the close of 2014. Mamapedia connects moms at every stage of their children's lives to compelling content from the source they trust most: other moms. Every day, moms turn to Mamapedia.com for advice on everything moms need: parenting, health, family, finance, pregnancy, nutrition, and travel; and on children of every age from infant to adult. Our vibrant local community network offers a place where moms can connect with each other in a supportive environment that serves as their very own local online moms group.Mamapedia Sweet Deals (aka Mamasource) was the group-buying (daily deals) program that delivered exclusive deals for busy moms and their families. In late December I helped facilitate the transfer of the Mamasource site assest to Plum District which is to be completed in late February 2014.I also continued to control the day to day operations of Mamapedia.com until I handled the transition of the company to GetIt LLC.

A hobby turned business. I was a wedding and portrait photographer that serviced the entire East Coast and traveled regularly for photography events. It was an amazing run and my time spent as a photographer and entrepreneur taught me so much. Starting this business opened doors and my mind to the my future and introduced me to my new career.
