For years, I’ve been the sole creative force within individual nonprofits, passionate about each issue but often limited by focusing on just one advocacy area. Now, working within a renowned agency committed to justice, I’m so inspired to expand my reach across the nonprofit and advocacy space. At Mixte, I’ll support impact organizations making real grassroots change where it matters most. This move allows me to do what I love on a larger scale, using creativity to drive action and tell powerful stories for causes that matter.

Through strategizing and streamlining VDO's brand identity moving forward, my creative work continues to push the civic engagement space while still centering design logic, accessibility, and inclusion.

By building easy-to-use tools for voters, uplifting comprehensive data for elections, and providing vital support for election officials, Democracy Works is a nonpartisan civic tech nonprofit actively making voting more accessible across the US. As the dedicated designer on the Communications team, my role is to shape our visual media through dynamic content creation and continued brand identity development moving forward.

FWD.us is a nonprofit bipartisan organization that centers advocacy on immigration and criminal justice reform in the US. Housed within the Community Department, my role is to design galvanizing content—from social posts and sharable infographics, to motion graphics and UI/UX web design, to advocacy explainers and toolkits—in service of moving the dialogue forward on these intersecting systems of injustice.

As a nonprofit news initiative that accepts no advertising, WhoWhatWhy is dedicated to elevating public awareness and fostering a more vigorous democracy. My role wears many hats, tracking and managing Creative projects within WhoWhatWhy, including design implementation within their writing, editing, video, podcasts, marketing, public relations, branding, and fundraising projects.

Working with Full Spectrum Features to help create a curriculum within the Chicagoland After School Matters program, teaching filmmaking and production for teens ages 14-18.The Full Spectrum Features mission statement: FULL SPECTRUM FEATURES NFP is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to increasing diversity in the media arts by producing, exhibiting, and supporting the work of women, LGBTQ, and minority filmmakers. We also aim to educate the public about important social and cultural issues, utilizing the power of cinema to foster understanding in our communities.

The Teen Creative Agency is a teen council at the MCA that teaches young people about the inner workings of museums, immerses them in contemporary art and work with museum staff to hone their teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. TCA’s goal is to build a generation of connected, creative collaborators. My job as a lead intern is to try to curate events and community art projects for young people to feel welcome and engaged in an institution like the MCA.
