Like many young women in social media, my story began with a love for Zoella, a small makeup collection and a dream. At 12 years old, I created an Instagram account to showcase my (questionable🤣) makeup skills using an iPod Touch and a digital camera I had gotten for Christmas. Every week, I shared new makeup looks to my audience of 5,000 and I loved every second of it, living out my Zoella fantasy.As I entered my GCSE years, this account took a backseat while I prepared for exams (which I never sat anyways! class of 2020✌🏻). It wasn't until my mental health took a turn for the worse right before my A Level exams that I reconnected with my passion. After leaving college just 6 weeks before I was due to sit my A Levels, I needed something to keep me occupied whilst working on healing.I decided that this time was my opportunity to make something of myself, so I started a TikTok page as a hobby, sharing fashion inspiration and hair tutorials. This page grew exponentially, and my videos were going viral left right and centre. The brand deals flew in and I just kept growing!After realising just how much running this page had taught me about social media, and how much I wanted to build my business up, I began to expand my services. I became a UGC creator alongside influencing, and have since provided content for over 40 brands including Boots and HelloFresh.As much as I LOVE content creation, I also wanted to work in strategy and helping businesses to grow their pages just as I did. I've invested thousands into my business, and now I am a CPD certified social media manager also trained in strategy. I work with service providers who, through their work have an impact on the lives of others, to build their social media presences so they create the platforms to match their reputations in the professional world, all while bringing in new customers daily.(PS: I'm cooler over on Instagram and TikTok😉)
