Opportunity@Work is a nonprofit social enterprise whose mission is to expand access to career opportunities for STARs - the 70+ million talented U.S. workers who are “Skilled Through Alternative Routes,”. During my tenor, I drove organizational strategy and created a growth plan for the region. Increased market engagement by cultivating relationships with public and private employers. Launched engagement of local workforce development and employer ecosystems to champion skilled based hiring through job fairs, and local events. Built and cultivated a regional team of market development experts to provide technology solutions that bridge the gap between employers, talent developers, and STARs through the Stellarworx marketplace platform.

Director of Programs for national non-profit advancing gender equity through economic security, leadership, and advocacy.Managed award-winning economic security training programs for economically vulnerable populations with 190,000 people trained.Fostered revenue-generating partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, college & universities, and state and local government municipalities generating over 100k annually.Developed a strategic plan for FY20-21 to include a virtual pivot in response to COVID-19 securing over 150 university partners and 21 city and state contracts.Led implementation and tracking of multi-year grant award in excess of 1.5M.

Managed two Directors, ten staff members, and the allocation of 7.5 million in annual operating and grant making budgets. Adviser to area Superintendent on key program and instruction strategies for the school district's turnaround initiative in fourteen K-12 schools

National liaison to 74 affiliates throughout the US and Canada charged to forge inter-departmental strategic development initiatives that enhance public policy interest, key legislation, and member value for the world's largest psychiatric medical specialty society representing over 36,000 clinicians and the patents they serve.

Reported to the National Vice President of the largest federal and DC government membership organization with over 600,000 members in 1,100 affiliates across 14 regions. Managed executive liaison affairs on behalf of senior executive team. Supervised internal and external legal staff, regional officers, and specialists to develop and deliver member services. Lobbied organization's position on key legislation and policy before Congressional leaders and staff, and federal government appointees. Spearheaded national advocacy campaigns. Developed reports, speeches, and testimonies. Reengineered operating budget eliminating deficit in one fiscal year.
