I manage patient satisfaction in the hospital and have proven results of turning complaints into queries while exceeding deadlines as set by our Governance Assurance Framework (GAF), statutory duty of candour and the strict requirements of the Independent Sector Complaints Adjudication Service (ISCAS). Our Circle Operating System (COS) is unique in healthcare where we use a methodology to empower all staff to deliver a standard of care for the patient to be centre, to receive the safe and compassionate care they need and expect. It is my role to promote and educate these COS elements while linking them to our values, principles, purpose and daily tasks. I have recruited COS Champions where we meet monthly and run campaigns to educate all staff, including consultants. Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections are my responsibility to lead the preparation of a visit. My aim is for an 'Outstanding' result and I have prepared all staff through creating a βCQC Committeeβ where we meet monthly and discuss where we need to make improvements, actions are created and discussed at the following meeting. I gather and analyse data, preparing reports, and present my findings to high level meetings including external Medical Advisory Committees. I also participate in regional, national meetings and conferences where appropriate, to ensure cohesion across the group so standards are kept, understood and followed. As an Auditor, I review calls to establish if staff are following policies and procedures to ensure patients receive the best possible service or treatment in a timely manner. All calls are recorded and are randomly listened to, to ensure they follow effective call control, skilled questioning and active listening, appropriate information and advice given, documentation, assesses appropriate symptoms, and make sure they deliver a safe and effective outcome for the patient.The training received is an in-depth, nationally recognised qualification in NHS Pathways.
