Together with Forest Isbell, I used the data from a long term nitrogen addition experiment at Cedar Creek, to explore the ecosystem dynamic under nitrogen enrichment and after its cessation.

Together with Yann Hautier, Merel Soons and Katie Barry, I applied a meta-data analysis with grassland experiments that cross species richness and nutrient addition treatment, and assessed how nutrient enrichment alters grassland overyielding.

I joined Keping Ma's lab as a research intern, and mainly worked with Xiaoli Shen from Institute of Botany, CAS and Sheng Li from Peking University on biodiversity monitoring in China. During the 1st project I focused on camera trap survey in Qianjiangyuan National Park, and explored population dynamic of protected species, including Muntiacus crinifrons, Syrmaticus ellioti, etc., and how their distribution related to vegetation condition. On the 2nd project, I developed a simulation method based on real-life camara trap data in different protected areas of China, to improve camera trap design.

Together with Xuhui Zhou and Guiyao Zhou, I explored the effects of grazing and global changes on ecosystem respiration, C-N-P stoichiometry, biodiversity-ecosystem functionings based on meta-analyses.
