Duties include welcoming guest, selling memberships and group fitness passes, promoting sales of retail items including apparel, food and beverage items. Cape Town Area, South Africa

Service learning trip focusing on issues surrounding development and underdevelopment in outlying communities, urban problems and the current state of South Africa in the post-Apartheid era. Experience included classroom learning reinforced by real-life application of concepts. Included daily trips to low-income impoverished townships. Tutored adults in computer skills and children in English and math.
