Hickory Villa is an assisted living facility that cares for about 50 residents. As a chef/server, my main goal is to provide the residents with excellent service that can enhance their quality of life. • When working as a server, I ensure that the residents have an aesthetically pleasing dining room for each meal by setting tables with tablecloths, proper flatware settings, cloth napkins and small floral arrangements. Meals are served efficiently by double-checking orders before taking the plates to the correct resident. After meals are done, the tables are bussed, dishes are washed, and the dining room is cleaned.• When working as a chef, I prepare nutritious meals for residents by following recipes.
