I am currently a Legal Studies student at Madison College where I just started my third semester and will be graduating in the Spring of 2024. During my time as a student I have picked up skills in all areas of law including family law, administrative law, civil litigation, and contract law. In addition to my formal education, I have real-world experience to offer as well. I am currently employed as a Legal Assistant at a small firm in a town just outside of Madison. The firm is a general practice firm which has given me hands on experience with more family law, estate planning, civil litigation, real estate, and criminal law. I am comfortable with legal programs such as Clio and LexisNexis, as well as navigating county court forms and websites and communicating with a wide range of people from clients to other attorneys to employees at government agencies. I pride myself on my ability to problem solve and acquire the information or documentation that my supervising attorney needs, including materials needed for discovery, information from clients to complete forms, and more.
