About Mia Fothergill - Voice Artist
I sometimes feel my whole life was training for a career in voiceover, even when I didn't know it yet.I started acting professionally when I was nine, and I spent the next decade and a half honing my technical skills in this field. I went to work at a radio production company next, which gave me the opportunity to work with other voice actors, do some voice directing and practice audio editing. Even when I went back to University to become a midwife, I used my background to embrace the performance-based elements of the career, whether it was speaking at conferences, running workshops or classes, or becoming a media spokesperson for my professional association. Even having children has been an opportunity to carry on refining my narration skills, with each and every children's book I've read out loud! My children are my strongest critics, and have taught me well. In short, I love what I do, and I couldn't stop doing it if I tried, clearly!I bring passion, talent, and stellar technical skills to my work, all wrapped up in a beautiful high-quality audio package.
