Miatta Harris is a freshman at Spelman College, majoring in political science on a pre-law track. She is passionate about leadership and community engagement, with a strong track record of academic excellence and extracurricular involvement. Miatta served as Senior Class President at Martha Ellen Stilwell School of the Arts and was Chairwoman of the Clayton County Youth Commission, where she led a successful voter registration drive and was recognized at the Georgia Center of Civic Engagement Youth Assembly as a top-two finalist and awarded Best Legal Oralist by Georgia Supreme Court justices. As a co-founder of the African Diaspora Association, she demonstrated strategic vision and organizational skills in promoting Afro-diasporic cultures. Her academic achievements include a 4.0 GPA, induction into the National Honor Society, and being a Top 50 finalist in the Georgia Senate Youth Program. Miatta is committed to pursuing a career in law and advocacy, aiming to use her education and experiences to contribute to meaningful change in society.
