Got hand-picked in the UK through a Government aptitude test in IT. I was a farmer at the time and thought my friend Mark Twaites had put my name down as a joke. Then got into the top 200 and was one of only 14 people sponsored for further training. All the other people were far cleverer than myself, but somehow I got the distinction and the rest was history. Got head-hunted by recruitment consultancies and paid to live in hotels in London whilst receiving expert training with IBM and then even more lucrative fields in Citibank. Retired from banking age 24 owning a house in London and enough money to travel around the world continuously for 4 years. Came to Australia in 1992 and again in 1994 and stayed. Started A PC Genius (used to be MB's Computer Brokers) in 1995 in Bowral. Really should have failed as there were already 17 other IT businesses in the very small Southern Highlands locality - but we boomed! Moved to Sydney in 2000 to go to Bible School and in moving the IT business multiplied by a factor of 10 again. Ran an IT show on Radio 2UE for 4-5 years and created a television show for Channel 9 sponsored by Intel and Acer.Specialties: A PC Genius build the best PC's in the world.
