I am a research scientist at HPE’s Networking and Distributed Systems Lab working with Dr. Puneet Sharma. I was a postdoctoral associate at CMU working with Prof. Swarun Kumar, and Prof. Peter Steenkiste. I received my PhD in Computer Science from Rutgers University under the supervision of Prof. Marco Gruteser. During my PhD, I was awarded the Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship from the CS Department at Rutgers University, the best paper award from ACM VLCS 2016. I had the chance to intern several times at Bell Labs, General Motors Research and Comcast Labs. I received my MS degree in Wireless Communications from Nile University and my B.Sc. in Computer and Systems Engineering from Alexandria University. I am broadly interested in designing and developing mobile, wireless and capacitive sensing systems, health sensing, positioning systems, autonomous driving systems, networking protocols, and applied machine Learning algorithms.
