About Mica Benedikt
Started my AEC journey at 16 years old in construction, on the framing crew. Working the table saw and nail gun, going home smelling like sawdust. Eventually moving to project manager, learning to read construction documents and handling layout with chalk lines and a tape. Getting my hands dirty early laid the foundation for the next 2 decades of my life.Since then I have been designing and working on architectural projects for over 20 years handling all aspects of drafting, BIM services, LEED analysis and MEP consulting for residential, commercial and federal and state projects. The last five years have been extensively focused on the implementation of cutting-edge technology for Scan to BIM and VDC services, pushing for the “build digitally first” approach. 6 years ago, I started flying with DJI drones and am a FAA 107 certified pilot.Excited and proud to be an active member in the AEC community.
