At the end of the day, I reflect on: tasks completed, what I have done to make someones day better and any progress made towards current goals. I am currently employed with Ashley Furniture HomeStore as a sales associate and mattress consultant. Setting and achieving sales goals is a given, while my main priority is providing our customers with a great experience. Customer Service has always been a part of my career history. The day after my fourteenth birthday, I started working my first job as a waitress. After graduating college with an associates degree, I fell into a position as the Regional Sales Manager for a start up company; Iowa Legendary Rye. Growing up in small town Iowa, I was blessed with opportunities to travel. Being the go-getter that I am, there was a chance for me to move to Colorado. I packed up the next week and took off! It was a bit of a struggle at first, but I finally was connected with a wonderful family needing a Full-Time nanny. I have a passion for helping others and tons of experience with kids - I am the oldest of five kids and helped my aunt with her daycare after school and during the summer months. Covid struck. The family was now working remotely and no longer required my assistance. During this time, I was dealing with skin issues. I prefer to handle any issues by educating myself and overcoming step by step. I am now a licensed esthetician! I am not only solving my own issues, but have the knowledge and ability to help others. For me, it all comes back to my want and need and drive to help.
