I am a passionate educator who believes that education is a basic human right that should be available to everyone. I believe in the transformational power of education, and am committed to ensuring that everyone - regardless of race, class, gender, sexuality, religion, or zip code - has equal access and opportunity. I earned my Master's degree from New York University in International Education, where I focused much of my research on education equity, human rights education, and immigrant or newcomer education. With a strong emphasis on research, I have experience in qualitative methods and have been involved in an ongoing research project looking at alternative education spaces in Buenos Aires and New York. I have experience in facilitation, curriculum development, education research, and grant writing, and am currently working in college access and career readiness with low income youth of color.
