Project management role as leader of multi discipline teams at TVA’s Bellefonte Nuclear Plant (BLN) in creation of detailed design packages which included scope, procurement, design inputs, maintenance, regulatory compliance, assumptions, interfaces, drawings, calculations, schedule and cost. Support staff members for project development valued at $8.2M. Interface with supervisors, technical team leaders, vendors, and client to ensure all specifications are met. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS•Project engineer of Cranes, Hoists and lifting devices program valued at over 2M; oversaw the completion of design as project engineer for the Chemical Feed Injection system valued at over 1.2M.•Completed detailed analysis of Main Steam system documentation to ensure all design needs were adequately addressed and properly documented. Developed report detailing path forward to address design impacts found.•Oversaw walkdowns of various nuclear plant systems to collect field specific information, needed for system design, which was then proficiently arranged into detailed reports breaking down the extensive field data.

Led research efforts to compile physical data to quantify and explain the behavior of tires filled with flat proofing polymers for QC and new product development purposes. Designed the testing process and apparatus for collecting accurate and useful data. Created CAD piping diagrams for chemical plant with accurate dimensions used for future pipe routing needed for plant growth forecasting. Assisted maintenance team in fieldwork, which included general maintenance and equipment replacement or upgrade.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS•Aided installation & design of flammable material containment rooms for plant chemicals as well as ensured all applicable state and federal fire codes were met.•Produced an organized file method to categorize various plant documents which were in disarray.•Delivered accurate and coherent R&D test results to plant executives with favorable feedback.

Aided engineering group in the design and testing of new product manufacturing lines to ensure LEAN manufacturing principles were properly applied. Conducted load testing for current and previous models of waterproof battery charging systems as part of the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) process. Supplemented the circuit board assembly team for new model prototyping.
