Undergraduate research intern serving in the Pain Mechanisms lab under the supervision of Dr. Thomas Martin. Here they are conducting research on hip and joint osteoarthritis in rodent models, as well as other areas of interest. The goal of the research is to have a better understanding of the different types of pain and how they can have both direct and indirect effects in biological behaviors.

● Dispensed Schedule I-V prescription medications for customers as requests were sent in by registered prescribers. ● Utilized pharmaceutical systems enter new and modify existing customer relations as well as provide additional details surrounding savings and discounts. ● Interpreted prescriptions and identified missing information to prepare medications for dispensing while working directly with Pharmacists for prescription review and approval.

● Managed cash office balances and statements at the start of each fiscal day, carry necessary funds over and deposit excess while preparing store for the day. ● Manage customer care and concern through interpersonal communication and conflict management while providing excellent customer service.● Executed the training manual to train and prepare new employees on store policies and procedures.
