The beginning of my work experience was based in the licensed childcare & early education field (i.e. implementing curriculum, locating an dispersing resources for families of children in my classroom or program, accounting for the collection of tuition and fees including delinquent accounts, etc.), though in recent years I've graduated to administrative roles in the government sector. In late 2017, I accepted a position at The Port of Seattle to access more opportunities for professional development, and in 2021 when I applied for a role with The Port of Seattle's Fire Department, I knew I'd found my professional "home". My journey at the Port of Seattle granted me the ability to dedicate more time to my education and encouraged a strong work/life balance. My current career goals are centered around Total Rewards which caters to my desire to coach future generations.
