My entire life I have felt the call to the mission field. It is my desire to serve God in the best way I know how, by going to the places unreached by the gospel to show the Glory of God. Oklahoma Baptist is the place I felt could best equip me for the job. OBU has been the place for growth and opportunity in my life. In my three years at OBU I have held a handful of leadership positions. 1. Co-chair of Canterbury, a weekly worship event put on completely by students for students. 2. Co-chair of University Concert Series (UCS); A club that puts on live concerts and events for the campus and surrounding community of OBU. 3. Mentor of a Global Outreach trip to Southeast Asia; Lead a team of four men to Southeast Asia for gospel ministry and humanitarian aid. During my time as a student I have received recognition for my leadership as well as my academic excellence from faculty and body. I am a member of mortar board, received the John Wesley Raley scholar award (an award given to one rising senior for academic ability and leadership), have been on the president’s s honor roll four semesters and the dean’s honer roll for two.My personality type is an enneagram 9w8. I am against conflict but not afraid to address it. I am flexible and relaxed, but hardworking and passionate. I seek wisdom before making a decision. I care about peoples well-being more than my own.
