I am from a small town in Georgia where morality and responsibility are hallmarks of the community as a result I learned the importance of perseverance at a very young age and I hold those values to this day. This upbringing Model me into a hardworking and dedicated individual but more importantly It gave me the passion to dive head long into any career path that I have chosen. This passion gives me the drive to learn quickly and perform efficiently. I have often been described as a leader however I believe that everyone has leadership potential but it must be molded properly and there is a time and a place to lead along with moments where individuals should value the wisdom of others and follow. I learned this lesson During officer candidate school where the motto was“ ductus exemplo ” which is Latin for leadership by example, this phrase epitomizes my ideal leader as well as my own leadership style. You must always inspect what you expect and continually evaluate ways to enhance the knowledge, performance, and ability of yourself, your organization, as well as those who fall under your tutu ledge. I also believe that it is importance to understand the value of being a team player which helps foster a culture of learning and productivity while also helping to build a pipeline for success within the work place. This can be done by approaching every interaction as a learning experience and cultivating relationships that build confidence and establish trust among supervisors and subordinates.
