Micah is the Managing Partner of the Dallas Office at the DLL Law Firm. He grew up in the small town of Llano, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station with an undergraduate degree in Speech Communication and later from South Texas College of Law with his Juris Doctorate. When you grow up in a small town, you are taught to work hard, value your family and community, help those in need, and to always rely on your instincts. Micah carries these values with him through his life. Today, Micah maintains a large docket of civil litigation throughout the United States. All lawyers, when they introduce themselves as attorneys are asked, “what kind of lawyer are you?” Micah is a trial lawyer. While he spends much of his time traveling around the country taking depositions and attending hearings, he is most comfortable in a courtroom in front of a jury. Juries are like small communities with people who have distinct values and beliefs. Micah believes that his small town upbringing enables him to connect to juries because he was taught to respect everyone’s opinions and always look at issues from both sides. Micah’s clients range from Fortune 500 companies to individuals and families. He has represented one of the world’s largest electronics conglomerates, one of the world’s largest satellite direct broadcast providers, and several of the world’s largest insurance carriers. In addition, Micah often helps protect the rights of families fallen victim to horrific accidents and loss of loved ones. Micah is frequently hired by United States Bankruptcy Trustees to prosecute and defend lawsuits in bankruptcy courts. His current docket includes cases involving, Breach of Contract, Business Torts, Fraudulent Transfer, Copyright Infringement, Financial Fraud, Insurance Policy Interpretation, Personal Injury, Products Liability, and Securities Class Actions.
