Organic Vegetable ProductionWorking on this organic farm has taught me how the most nutritious foods are grown and raised from the very beginning. Here, I was put in charge of seeding hundreds of varieties of numerous vegetables and fruits. I learned to understand each of their unique, individual needs to help them flourish throughout the season. I was also able to watch and maintain them as they grew into marketable produce that I harvested and prepared to later be sold and delivered to local customers. The interaction that I have had by selling this produce at farmers markets, the on-farm store, and taking deliveries to local restaurants has enabled me to meet the most health conscience consumers and understand how important good food and proper nutrition are in everyone’s life.

This small business has taught me how unique different people’s pets can be. Making sure that each animal gets proper nutrition, an ample amount of exercise, and plenty of love can assure that every pet and its owner are happy.
