PORTFOLIO DESIGNS:• Mid Sized Go Bag - This project was focused on developing iand prototyping a mid-sized bag that could fit an iPad and the essentials for an on-the-go individual. Well-known outdoor brands inspired the materials and the features throughout the design. The form was inspired by going to study, shopping at a market, spontaneous hikes and daily activities.• Skate Shoe Design - The On Skate shoe is designed as an athletic leisure shoe that can be used for skateboarding or casual wear. The flat sole ensures maximum board contact and gives the shoe a stable base. Pull tabs down the front of the shoe enable the user to quickly tighten around the foot. A form-fitting upper gives the user stability and comfort. • Observation Tower - I was tasked with designing an observation tower in a South Dakota park. The design puts the user right above the treetop, creating a nostalgic treehouse feel. The lower level provides accessibility to people who are unable to walk to the top, while the upper 50-foot level appeals to children. The use of wood mirrors the surrounding trees.• Visitor Center - I was tasked with designing the interior of a visitor center in South Dakota. To reflect the natural surroundings and add to user experience, biophilic design was chosen as a guiding design principle. Included are plants, pops of green to calm the visitor, and natural materials such as wood and stone. Additionally, large glass windows provide views of the scenery of South Dakota so the user feels connected to the landscape.• Canoo Ambulance Design - Use Canoo's brand language to design an autonomous ambulance for rural Iowa in the year 2030. Design a second personal response vehicle to provide preliminary supplies and aid before victim transport.
