Co-lead the implementation of a garden-based education program and study in 3rd grade classrooms of an inner-city Boston elementary school. I managed a team of 15 volunteers in the implementation of the garden-based lessons over one school year. Additionally, I designed and implemented a survey-based study that measured the program's effectiveness in improving the students' self-efficacy, knowledge, preferences, and attitudes towards consuming fruits and vegetables.

Evaluated 100+ physical activity programs at U.S.-based public schools for a $1M accelerator program. Conducted data analysis on school-based physical activity programs and contributed as a co-author on a paper submitted to Preventing Chronic Disease.

Maintaining 30+ local IRB approvals. Responsible for all aspects of data management for Cooperative Group Clinical Trials. Data submission, record keeping and correspondence with various in house and central agencies.

The T.E.E.N.S. Program (Teaching, Encouragement, Exercise, Nutrition and Support) is a multidisciplinary weight management clinic for children with a body mass index above the 85th percentile for their age. Duties included data coding, data entry, maintaining research participant files, and assisting in participant recruitment efforts.
