In this role, I am responsible for the assembly and testing of high precision research and development products and flight hardware, ensuring meticulous adherence to quality standards. I conduct comprehensive testing encompassing functional testing, electrical testing, vibration, shock, TVAC (Thermal Vacuum), and RF (Radio Frequency) testing. My proficiency extends to the development and documentation of Manufacturing Assembly Procedures (MAPs) and Test Procedures, optimizing the efficiency and repeatability of assembly and testing processes. I am skilled in utilizing in-house metrology equipment to perform detailed inspections of machined parts, ensuring accuracy and precision in measurements. I work in close collaboration with the Product Assurance team to define and document qualified MAIT processes, enhancing overall quality assurance. I possess a comprehensive understanding of interpreting detailed drawings, surface finishes, tolerances, and materials. I approach problem-solving with a pragmatic and logical perspective, finding simplified solutions to intricate challenges. I sought and completed training on solidworks and volunteered to help the engineering team by taking design ownership of ground support equipment. This has increased my CAD experience and enabled me to create fully compliant technical drawings required for the procurement of parts.
