Maintained our EC2 infrastructure, including automation with SaltStack; maintained a container that was used to build Rust and TypeScript projects; maintained Datadog alerts and logs; Python scripting for reporting, monitor automation, and contributions to a project that tested our customer-facing API; created Infrastructure as Code with AWS Cloud Development Kit for deploying applications in AWS Elastic Container Service/Fargate.

Developed and maintained the Python/Django application that keeps track of the entire Implementation process for our complex dedicated hosting (and other) environments; worked with users to create tools that help them do their jobs efficiently and accelerate the recognition of revenue; managing its PostgreSQL and Redis databases.

Managed various backend systems that tie together various products in the Rackspace Cloud. Help with logging/analytics, database work, writing scripts, and networking tasks.

Helped customers with set up and solve problems with their Linux servers. Included work with the LAMP stack and email.

Wrote scripts for various data processing needs in Perl and Bash. Performed various system administration tasks involving an e-mail/groupware system, various firewalls and databases, and the backup system. In July 2006 I transitioned to be the interim "IT guy" at the organization's jungle hospital in Shell, Ecuador. This involved maintaining the Linux servers as well as Windows clients and keeping the network and the PBX running smoothly.
