Dr. Micah Yu is a Rheumatologist and quadruple board certified in Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, Integrative medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. He is a graduate of the Andrew Weil Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona. He also is certified in Functional Medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine.Dr. Yu, along with his wife Dr. Melissa Mondala, founded Dr. Lifestyle, the first direct primary care and direct rheumatology care clinic focused on integrative medicine located in Newport Beach, California.Dr. Yu sees patients physically in his clinic and also throughout the USA. He is licensed in multiple states throughout the USA. Dr. Yu focuses on a number of different autoimmune diseases along with other chronic illnesses including inflammatory arthritis, rheumatologic autoimmune diseases, chronic fatigue syndrome, long haul covid, and fibromyalgia. Not only is he a Rheumatologist but also an autoimmune patient himself. He has been able to control his autoimmune disease through the use of integrative medicine without the use of conventional medications. His focus is on looking for the root cause of treating autoimmune diseases and arthritis. He has a special interest combining complementary and allopathic medicine to treat his patients. Dr. Yu is very passionate about finding ways to treat autoimmune diseases not only with conventional medications such as biologics but also with modalities he has learned through integrative and functional medicine.
