My main focus during this time period was the data ingestion platform; highlights: - Architecture that horizontally scales to support unlimitted data sources and parallel data pulls - Within 6 months we had 100+ data sources at a total cost of < 100k, and had out-executed incumbents that had years of dev on the same problem

Founded and built Gooten (1.4M seed) from the ground up-- at the end of 18 months i was sysadmin on 38 servers and sole dev on over 20 independent services. At the end of my 7-year anniversary we had a full dev team, no turnover, had crossed the 10M ARR mark, had thousands of users, over 100M+ daily API requests, and were on the verge of full profitability. Since I was a founder here, there is a ton of non-technical experience as well-- hiring and management of all roles outside of tech, interacting with our board, setting strategy for the business, etc.. Worked on a storm/weather early warning detection and alert system. ML implemented in C#.

Was awarded a research grant for a paper I wrote on 1) neural net generation via genetic algorithms and 2) neural net training via genetic algorithms. The hypothesis was that using genetic algorithms one could decrease the time spent finding the appropriate net layers/inputs and net biases/weights. I was funded after the paper was submitted in order to build a prototype, which I wrote in java. Such an incredible experience!
