Micah built his first house when he was 8 years old. “I was a carpenter’s son and kept building complex tree houses in our backyard,” Micah says. “I stopped when I ran out of trees and built one underground.”What he built drew the children and families in his neighborhood together. “Even as a kid I learned that building something that didn’t exist before is just plain magical. It had purpose, it brought new chances for people to interact with each other, and it was crazy fun. Who doesn’t like tree houses?”This lesson serves as the business philosophy for Micah today. As a real estate agent, developer and investment consultant, he works with his clients to discover purpose, look for key opportunities and have fun.“My client’s trust that my number one goal is helping them build a better future. Wherever they are, I know I can help them discover their next best move.”The next best move for Micah’s clients has included building a retirement community, a science laboratory and remodeling and selling a restaurant, buying a brewery, retail-commercial, multi-family and single family residential projects. “I can find elegant solutions to complex situations but I also love instilling vision in transactions that are straightforward,” he says. “For example, I get excited working with families who want to sell their home and help them discover their dream for their next home. I love helping build better lives.”Micah has a degree in Construction Management and Urban Development . He developed the first LEED Neighborhood Design in the country. Micah sits on the board for the Oak Park Business District and is a life member of the Sacramento Association of Realtor’s Master’s Club having sold over 500 homes. He is a Sacramento boy who can be found riding his bike to lunch with his wife, Emily, and four kids.
