Roles and Responsibilities:- Conceptualize design for a specific project (residential, commercial, industrial)- Layout electrical design into a complete electrical plan for permit and construction- Compute schedule of loads including size of breakers, wires and conduits- Design analysis which includes voltage drop and short circuit calculation- Prepare detailed budgetary estimate of a specific project- Conduct site inspections, as-built surveys, generate as-built drawings, electrical audit, and protective device coordination studyI was given the chance to handle and be part of residential, commercial, and industrial projects such as apartment, condominiums, outlet stores, resorts, gas stations, oil depot, etc.

During my On-The-Job Training, I became familiar primarily about Electrical Design which includes electrical and auxiliary layouts, cost estimates, and design analysis. In a short period, I was able to grasp the basics in producing electrical plans with the use of softwares such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
